Post Treatment Care

Your session with us has been completed, and now it's important to take some steps to ensure the best results and your comfort after your treatment. Here are some key guidelines for post-treatment care:

Acupuncture

After Acupuncture

Stay Hydrated:

After acupuncture, it's important to stay well-hydrated. Drinking water can help flush out toxins released during the treatment and maintain your body's balance.

Rest and Relax:

Allow yourself some downtime after your session. Resting and avoiding strenuous activities for the remainder of the day can enhance the benefits of acupuncture.

Monitor Your Body:

Pay attention to any changes in your body or symptoms following acupuncture. This self-awareness can help you and your practitioner track your progress.

After Phlebotomy

Hydrate:

Similar to acupuncture, staying hydrated is crucial after blood collection. It can help replenish fluids lost during the procedure.

Apply Pressure:

If you experience mild bruising or bleeding at the puncture site, apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth to stop bleeding and reduce bruising.

Avoid Heavy Exercise:

Refrain from strenuous exercise immediately after phlebotomy to prevent any stress on the puncture site.

Keep the Site Clean:

Maintain good hygiene around the puncture site. Gently clean the area with mild soap and water, and pat it dry with a clean, soft towel.

Watch for Infection Signs:

Be vigilant for any signs of infection such as redness, warmth, swelling, or discharge at the puncture site. If you notice these symptoms, contact your healthcare provider.

After PRP Micro-needling

Avoid Direct Sun Exposure:

Shield your treated scalp from direct sunlight immediately after the procedure. Wear a hat or use sunscreen to protect the area.

Gentle Hair Care:

For the first few days, handle your hair and scalp gently. Avoid vigorous brushing or combing to prevent irritation.

Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water to maintain overall scalp health and support the healing process.

No Hair Products:

Refrain from using hair products like gels, mousse, or hairspray immediately after treatment. Consult with your practitioner for specific product recommendations and guidelines.

Skip Swimming and Saunas:

Avoid swimming pools and saunas for a few days post-treatment to reduce the risk of infection.

Monitor Your Scalp:

Keep an eye on your scalp for any unusual reactions or excessive redness. If you notice anything concerning, contact your practitioner.
